A proposed class action alleging that Coinbase Global employed poor data-security practices and allowed thieves to ransack customer cryptocurrency accounts should go before an arbitrator, the company told a federal court.
All of the plaintiffs entered into user agreements requiring mandatory arbitration of disputes arising out of Coinbase’s services, the company said in a motion to compel arbitration filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
