CNN didn’t place Trump advisor Michael Flynn’s brother and sister-in-law in a false light when it ran a story that showed them at a QAnon rally with a headline-style chyron that said, “CNN Goes Inside a Gathering of QAnon Followers,” a federal court said.
Retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn was former president Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor, who, after the 2020 presidential election, supported QAnon’s conspiracy theories about the election. In February 2021, CNN’s story showed John and Leslie standing next to Michael at the QAnon rally, repeating the group’s slogan, “Where we go one, we go all.”
