Climate First Bank Gets Ex-Senior VP’s Age Bias Suit Dismissed

Climate First Bank was granted dismissal of age discrimination claims from its former senior vice president and director of residential lending who said he was demoted and then fired in a “scheme” to hire younger executives, but a federal judge gave him leave to amend his complaint.

James Hennessy, who is over 50, worked for the bank from August 2022 to April 2023, the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida said.
