Clif Bar consumers sought a federal judge’s initial approval for a $12 million revised nationwide class settlement resolving allegations that the snack bars were touted as healthful despite a high sugar content.
The new proposal addresses concerns that led to the rejection of an earlier $10.5 million deal, the plaintiffs said in a filing to Judge James Donato of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
