Claims Adjuster Sues Allstate For Allegedly Not Paying Overtime

Allstate Insurance Company has been sued by a Texas claim adjuster for allegedly failing to pay him overtime, according to a lawsuit filed Friday.

Rockie Thompson filed a collective action complaint against Allstate in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act for failure to pay overtime wages.

The complaint alleges Allstate employs him as a CAT Claims Adjuster in Houston and fails to pay him and other similarly situated adjusters’ overtime for hours worked over 40 per week, instead paying them only a salary. Thompson brings the lawsuit ...
