A former human resources director who worked for Reading, Pa., may proceed with her hostile work environment claim against the city, a federal court said.
Aida Acevedo brought claims against the city for retaliation and sex discrimination—specifically for a hostile work environment—under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as well as claims against the mayor and his former assistant under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
