CityMD Deal Over Alleged Improper Covid-19 Test Billing Gets Nod

Summit Health Management LLC got preliminary approval for a settlement in a class action alleging that it wrongfully billed Covid-19 test seekers when the tests were supposed to be free.

Ana Martinez Reyes alleged the CityMD operator “violated the Family First Coronavirus Response Act and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, Economic Security Act by inappropriately charging those who came to its facilities for COVID tests” and repeatedly harassed her in trying to collect the erroneous charge.
