Columbus, Ohio; Madison, Wis.; and Doctors for America have announced they’re appealing a district court decision that prevents them from helping to defend a federal regulation protecting reproductive health-care patients’ privacy.
The group filed a notice of appeal with the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas on June 13, saying they intend to ask the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to review Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s April 15 order denying their motion to intervene in a suit challenging the 2024 regulation.
