Citibank Accused of Not Properly Paying Bankers Nationwide (1)

Citibank NA was hit with a new wage and hour lawsuit alleging that it failed to properly compensate its bankers for meal breaks, rest breaks, and pre-shift work.

Thursday’s proposed class and collective action led by named plaintiffs Roberto De Ioris and Antonio Jefferson accuses Citibank of violating the federal Fair Labor Standards Act as well as the labor laws of at least 48 US states and the District of Columbia.

The bankers brought their case in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York and are seeking unpaid wages and punitive damages.
