A deaf Ohio public school American Sign Language teacher sued the district for its alleged failure to accommodate her request of providing her with an interpreter so she could effectively perform her job duties.
Sally Ann Zwicker says that she performed her job at Cincinnati Public Schools for two years with a full-time qualified ASL interpreter, but that person resigned in July 2023, according to her lawsuit in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
