Church & Dwight $3.1 Million Dry Shampoo-Benzene Deal Gets Nod

Church & Dwight Co. and consumers received final approval for a $3.1 million class settlement in litigation alleging dry shampoo products had undisclosed benzene.

The deal, which includes a $2.5 million cash fund and $600,000 in vouchers, was approved by the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, according to an order docketed Tuesday.

  • The nationwide settlement covers purchasers of Batiste-brand products, who are eligible for cash or vouchers, depending on the particular product
