Chrome Hearts Sues SHEIN Over Use of Trademarked Cross Designs

Luxury leather goods maker Chrome Hearts LLC sued the owners of fashion e-commerce platform SHEIN for trademark infringement, alleging it sold products featuring Chrome Hearts designs without authorization.

Zoetop Business Co. and Shein US Services LLC manufactured, marketed, and sold handbags and other accessories that bore patches “substantially indistinguishable” from Chrome Hearts’ own marks, the lawsuit said. The allegedly infringed marks include several cross designs and the image of an ornamented dagger, intended for use on bags, clothing, jewelry, and hair accessories, according to the complaint.
