Moody Bible Institute has settled its suit alleging Chicago Public Schools’ nondiscrimination requirements improperly prevented the Christian college’s students from participating in a student teaching program, records show.
No details about the settlement terms were revealed in the stipulation of dismissal filed Thursday. But according to a news release from Alliance Defending Freedom, which represents Moody, the Chicago Board of Education agreed to let Moody participate in the program without Moody having to adjust its faith-based hiring practices.
