Christian Bookstore Challenges Colorado Anti-Discrimination Law

A Christian bookstore in Colorado is mounting a constitutional challenge to the state’s antidiscrimination law, which was recently amended to expand protections for transgender people.

The law prohibits the Colorado Springs business from refusing to use pronouns or other language contrary to a person’s biological sex, contradicting its religious beliefs, the bookstore asserts in a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Colorado.
