Chris Cuomo, CNN Arbitration Can Proceed Despite Bias Allegation

A New York state judge declined Chris Cuomo’s request to halt arbitration proceedings against his former employer, after the former anchor claimed that the arbitrator is biased toward CNN.

New York Supreme Court Justice Andrea Masley on Thursday said Cuomo hasn’t shown any evidence that the arbitrator in his dispute with CNN, Stephen Sonnenberg, had actually showed bias toward CNN, nor is it proper for the court to stay the proceedings while the dispute is still ongoing.
