R&B musician Chris Brown and an Ohio man resolved fraud claims alleging Brown skipped a live performance after his team coerced the man to wire $500,000.
The parties sought to dismiss the case with prejudice Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. The dismissal stipulation follows a status report the parties filed a week prior notifying the court that they’re finalizing a confidential settlement agreement. John Waldron sued Chris Brown, his team at CBE Touring LLC, and promoters from DML Real Estate Investors and Construction LLC in 2022, alleging fraud, among other claims.
