Kinsley Technology Co., a Chinese disposable mask seller, won $320,000 in total damages from a trio of online sellers it accused of trademark infringement.
The US District Court for the District of New Jersey granted default judgment Tuesday on all counts after defendants Exquisite Buys, Toysters LLC, and LankeyFit failed to respond to Kinsley’s complaint, which alleged the defendants sold counterfeit SUNCOO-branded masks using its Amazon Standard Identification Number. All products sold on Amazon.com require an ASIN, which allows sellers to create a landing page for branded products.
