China Unicom’s Ejection From US Market by FCC Upheld on Appeal

The FCC properly revoked China Unicom America‘s authority to operate in the US over security concerns, a divided federal appeals court ruled Tuesday.

The Federal Communications Commission’s statutory power to grant licenses to telecommunications companies carries an implied ability to revoke them, Judge Daniel P. Collins said for the Ninth Circuit majority.
