An LGBTQ+ advocacy group must produce records that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) says might confirm doctors are scheming to circumvent a state ban on child transgender care, the state supreme court said Friday.
Paxton sought the records from PFLAG Inc. after learning that the group may have knowledge of physicians prescribing illegal gender-transition treatments but billing them as something legal. Paxton has sued three pediatricians for such treatments, though none it appears are tied to this investigation.
