The Chicago Transit Authority is accusing the Trump administration of withholding roughly $3 billion in federal grants for infrastructure projects.
Chicago’s expansion of and updates to its “L” train system are at risk of grinding to a halt unless the administration is ordered to disburse the funds, the transit authority alleged in a complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
