PowerSchool Holdings LLC and Chicago Public Schools agreed to settle a data collection lawsuit from a student who sued over the education system’s use of the company’s Naviance platform.
PowerSchool, Chicago Public Schools, and an online data analytics company Heap Inc. said in a joint statement in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois that they reached an agreement in principle with the student to settle the case on a classwide basis, with more details coming on or before Feb. 23
