The Chicago Cubs Baseball Club failed to bring an early end to negligence claims by an Associated Press photographer injured at Wrigley Field, after an Illinois appeals court found it unclear whether he agreed to resolve any claims against the Cubs through arbitration.
Charles Arbogast may proceed with his lawsuit because it’s disputed whether he entered into a written contract with the Cubs organization, the Illinois Appellate Court, First District ruled Tuesday.
Arbogast alleges he was injured when he tripped on a stack of pallets photographers would stand on to photograph baseball games at Wrigley.
