Chicago Cubs Beat Wrigley Field Wheelchair Accessibility Lawsuit

The Chicago Cubs escaped a lawsuit Friday from a disabled fan alleging Wrigley Field doesn’t comply with the Americans with Disability Act.

A lower court properly found the Cubs’ stadium offers spectators in wheelchairs substantially equivalent or better seating choices than other spectators, the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said.

The ruling affirms a bench trial finding for the Chicago Cubs Baseball Club LLC and against plaintiff David F. Cerda.
