Chicago Area Authorities Probe Computer Theft From Courthouse

Cook County, Ill., authorities are still investigating the reported theft of computers from its criminal courthouse on Chicago’s south side earlier this week.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office released a video July 24 showing what they identified as a person of interest walking through the brightly-lit lobby of the George N. Leighton courthouse wheeling a cart, upon which are thought to be the computers, covered with a cloth or blanket.
