Chevron Hit With Ex-Counsel’s Retaliation, Disability Bias Suit

A former Chevron attorney alleges in a new lawsuit that the energy giant discriminated against him and retaliated after an international assignment he had received fell through over suitable schooling for his autistic son.

The plaintiff, identified in the complaint as “John Doe,” says that Chevron violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law when it decided to remove him from his position in Kazakhstan and then failed to find him a comparable role.
