Chat Site Omegle Must Face Claim for Sex Trafficking Minors

Videochat website operator Omegle.com LLC can’t avoid a federal sex trafficking claim made by a plaintiff who alleges the site randomly paired her with a man who sexually abused her online when she was preteen.

A.M. adequately alleged that Omegle knowingly facilitated sexual encounters between minors and adults, and that it benefited in that venture by receiving advertising revenue, the US District Court for the District of Oregon said.
