Chanel Inc. alleges that a Texas-based small online storefront is selling products bearing “a counterfeit of the iconic Chanel” trademarks and is seeking at least $2 million in damages.
The luxury goods seller says Thirtyish—otherwise known as BBlessed Provisions Group LLC—"has never been an authorized distributor of Chanel’s high-quality products” and yet allegedly offers “at least counterfeit Chanel branded belts, handbags, hats, sweaters, t-shirts, and bracelets,” according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
The complaint asserts that BBlessed operates out of Celina, Texas and runs a “fully interactive website” at “thirtyish.shop”. ...
