Centurion Unit Workers Get First Nod for Collective Wage Suit

Current and former Oil Patch Group Inc. workers who alleged the Centurion Group Ltd. subsidiary violated state and federal wage laws won conditional approval from a federal judge to certify their collective action.

Judge David H. Urias of the US District Court for the District of New Mexico in a Tuesday order approved the workers’ proposed class of all Oil Patch flowback operators in New Mexico who were paid a day rate without overtime pay within the last three years from the date the 2021 suit was filed.
