CentiMark Fails to Get Most of Roofer’s Wage Allegations Tossed

CentiMark Corp. must face most of a roofer’s wage-and-hour allegations, although he will have to amend his complaint and try again on some claims.

The roofer’s would-be class claims for alleged violations of California’s meal and rest break, wage statement, waiting time, and business expenses laws may move forward, but the roofing and flooring firm won dismissal for now of some claims based on an unfair competition law and the state’s Private Attorneys General Act, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said.
