Census $78 Million IT Contract Upheld from Bait-and-Switch Claim

A $78 million government contract for Spatial Front Inc. to provide information technology services for the U.S. Census Bureau was upheld when the U.S. Court of Federal Claims found insufficient evidence the company committed an impermissible “bait-and-switch” on key personnel.

Golden IT LLC protested the award, arguing Spatial Front got the contract in part by making material misrepresentations about the ability of one of its employees to serve in the key role of information specialist/knowledge engineer.
