Cencora Wins Again in Delaware Litigation Over Syringe Scam

Delaware’s top court Friday upheld a decision dismissing litigation over an alleged syringe scam based on the findings of a single-member AmerisourceBergen Corp. board committee.

The ruling tossing the case “should be affirmed on the basis of and for the reasons stated” by the judge who threw it out last year, the Delaware Supreme Court said in a brief decision. The company is now known as Cencora Inc.

Justice Gary F. Traynor signed the two-page order. The court’s full five-member panel heard oral arguments Sept. 11 in an appeal by a group of pension funds.
