Celsius Bests Flo Rida in Ruling Reducing $82.6 Million Verdict

Celsius Holdings will get a major discount—up to 50%—on damages it owes Flo Rida for breaching their endorsement deal in which it promised stock in the fledgling energy drink for promotion.

Jurors incorrectly awarded Tramar Dillard, who performs under his Flo Rida stage name, roughly $82.6 million last year, the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal ruled Wednesday. Though the drink-maker did violate its deal with the artist, the jury should have valued his stock at the time of that breach in 2021 instead of 2023.
