Cedar Fair LP and a woman permanently disabled after a piece of metal fell off a roller coaster and onto her head at an Ohio amusement park have reached a settlement for her negligence lawsuit.
Terms of the settlement, announced in a joint statement between the family of Michigan woman Rachel Hawes and Cedar Fair, are confidential but represent a “fair and equitable agreement that satisfies both parties,” according to the statement, released Friday.
