CBS TV Station, Part-Time Editor End Age Discrimination Lawsuit

San Diego’s KFMB-TV settled a part-time weekend night assignment desk editor’s claim that she was denied a full-time evening assignment editor position because she was in her 60s.

The US District Court for the Southern District of California entered an order Tuesday dismissing Bobbie Leonard lawsuit against the Tegna Inc.-owned station under California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act. That came a day after the parties filed a joint motion to dismiss the entire case.
