Carvana Directors Defend ‘Thankless’ Covid Refinance Review

The credibility of two Carvana Co. board members who seek to end investor litigation over the company’s pandemic-related refinancing came under attack Monday in a Delaware courtroom.

The board members—Neha Parikh, the former Waze CEO, and Michael Maroone, the former president and COO of AutoNation Inc.—were selected for a special litigation committee tasked with evaluating claims that Carvana’s founder and CEO benefited financially when the company unnecessarily refinanced during market panic in early 2020.
