Capstone Logistics Gets Worker’s Bias Verdict Partly Overturned

Capstone Logistics LLC was right that an employee who missed work for back surgery didn’t show lost pay or other monetary damages from its interference with her federal medical leave rights, the Eleventh Circuit ruled.

A jury’s verdict for the warehouse supervisor under the Family and Medical Leave Act, which awarded him $200,000 for that claim, therefore can’t stand, a unanimous panel said in partially reversing a lower court.
