Capital Group Owes Worker $9 Million for Retaliation, Jury Says

Capital Group Companies Global and the Capital Group Companies Inc. must pay a French Canadian longtime employee nearly $9 million for job retaliation and wrongful termination in violation of California law, a Los Angeles federal jury ruled.

Each of the companies owes Christian Tetrault $4 million in punitive damages, the US District Court for the Central District of California said in a verdict form entered Wednesday.
