Cantor’s Lutnick Settles Suit Over $50 Million Newmark Bonus (1)

Cantor Fitzgerald LPChief Executive Officer Howard Lutnick settled a lawsuit over his $50 million bonus tied to Newmark Group Inc. days before he is set to appear in front of the US Senate for a confirmation hearing to run the Commerce Department.

Lutnick, who is also Newmark’s chairman, and other corporate directors have reached an agreement, lawyers for investors said in a Wednesday letter filed in a Delaware court. Terms of settlement weren’t disclosed.
