Campbell’s Exits Lawsuit Over Swanson Broth ‘NO MSG ADDED’ Claim

A Swanson Chicken Broth consumer’s contention that she was misled by a “NO MSG ADDED” label representation into thinking the product had no glutamates at all undermined her proposed class suit against Campbell Soup Co.

Stephanie Henry sued in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, raising warranty claims and alleging Campbell’s violated New York consumer protection statutes.
