Cambridge Cop Defends Floyd Criticism as First Amendment Right

Cambridge, Mass., defended in the First Circuit Tuesday its decision to temporarily suspend a police officer who used terms like “druggie” and “career criminal” to describe George Floyd, the Black man murdered by a Minneapolis police officer in 2020, while fellow officers stood by, and onlookers filmed the incident.
