The National Rifle Association of America and others say California is violating the Second Amendment by banning the sale or transfer of Glock and Glock-style handguns with cruciform trigger bars.

The new lawsuit on Monday joins other efforts against the Golden State’s attempts at regulating semiautomatic handguns. Various individuals, gun shops, and gun rights organizations separately challenged California’s so-called “handgun ban” in 2020 and later appealed the denial of a preliminary injunction to the Ninth Circuit.
