California Supreme Court Disbars Attorney Over Fraud Scheme

The Supreme Court of California disbarred an attorney Friday after finding him culpable of taking part in a scheme to misappropriate about $157,000 belonging to an elderly client.

Attorney Drexel Bradshaw was formally disbarred from practicing law in California, Justice Goodwin H. Liu said in an opinion.

We “find Bradshaw culpable of multiple counts of misconduct involving moral turpitude and conclude that disbarment is necessary to protect the public and the integrity of the legal profession,” Liu said.
