The state of California filed a complaint against AHMC Healthcare Inc. for violating conditions that the attorney general imposed when approving AHMC’s 2020 purchase of Seton Medical Center and Seton Coastside, which serve San Francisco and San Mateo counties.
The complaint alleges that AHMC breached its obligations to maintain certain services at Seton Coastside and Seton Medical Center, including operating the emergency department and skilled nursing facility at Seton Coastside and maintaining Seton Medical Center’s stroke center certification and cardiac catheterization labs.
