California PAGA Arbitration Cases Get State High Court Review

The California Supreme Court on Wednesday added three cases to its list of lawsuits involving employers seeking to enforce mandatory arbitration provisions for claims made under a unique state labor law.

Two of the cases granted review by the justices during their weekly meeting involved Uber and Lyft and were on remand from the US Supreme Court under the high court’s ruling in Viking River Cruises Inc. v.
