California Kids Gun Ad Law Is Fully Blocked, 9th Cir. Clarifies

The California attorney general is prohibited from enforcing the entirety of a state law prohibiting the gun industry from advertising to children, the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said in a ruling Monday.

The ruling clarified that the trial court must issue a preliminary injunction covering all parts of the law including both the subsection that bans advertising targeted at children as well as that subsection that prohibits a minor’s personal information for gun marketing purposes.
