California Judge’s Sanction Threat Mooted by Guilty Verdict (1)

A guilty verdict Tuesday afternoon that could send a California judge to prison for the rest of his life mooted a side issue of whether the judge on trial for fatally shooting his wife would be sanctioned.

The judge was approached by a bail bondsman to discuss the case Tuesday morning, while sitting next to his son and near members of the jury before the courtroom was unlocked, a bailiff said.
