A California Green Party-candidate for governor who was denied ballot access failed to convince a district court that the state must be required to accept his nomination documents.

Rudolph “Butch” Ware’s bid to have his name printed on the June 2 primary ballot can’t be granted since state election laws have already required ballots to be issued to voters in the military, overseas, and those voting by mail, Judge William B.
