A pair of federal judges in Los Angeles whose homes burned down in the Palisades wildfire earlier this year sued the city’s Department of Water and Power, alleging the fires were caused by its “empty reservoirs and energized powerlines.”
Senior District Judge Dean D. Pregerson and former Magistrate Judge Vijay C. Gandhi of the US District Court for the Central District of California said the catastrophic wildfires completely burned down their homes in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.
