California Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero appointed four new voting members and four new advisory, non-voting members to the Judicial Council, the agency responsible for ensuring the consistent administration of justice in the state, the Judicial Council announced Thursday.
The new voting members include an appellate court justice, a superior court judge, and two attorneys in private practice. The new non-voting advisory members include two superior court judges, one commissioners, and a court executive officer.
