A federal judge tossed a Texas congressman’s lawsuit attempting to block a retaliatory move by California to wipe out Republican congressional gains the Trump administration hopes to secure through Texas’ controversial mid-decade redistricting.
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R) of Texas didn’t have standing to sue in federal court, Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas said Thursday.
